Weather Stations

Upon first glance, when reviewing the dataset, it appears that we have excellent, comprehensive data. For a state as small as Hawaii, nine separate weather stations seem more than sufficient to provide excellent coverage.

However, upon reviewing the precise placement of the weather stations, a startling discrepancy is revealed. Rather than, as presumed, a roughly equal dispersion across the state of Hawaii, all nine weather stations are concentrated on the island of Oahu.

Thus, it's better to say that, rather than our conclusions applying to the weather in Hawaii as a whole, they can apply to the island of Oahu.
